Smeaton’s Bridge

The Perth Bridge [Smeaton’s Bridge] is being lit up in yellow to mark Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month from the 19th – 21st June. These dates have been chosen to mark GRTHM and the summer solstice following discussions with local community members. Traditionally, Gypsy/Travellers went out on the road again following the winter period when the ‘yellow was on the broom’.
